Is HDPE fabric safe for children's play areas?
Yes. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) fabric is non-toxic, breathable and widely used in children’s environments worldwide. It carries no chemical treatments that could be harmful on contact and is safe for use directly above play areas where children are in close proximity to the fabric. All HDPE fabric we use is sourced from Gale Pacific (Australia) and meets international standards for UV stability and safety.
Can a play area shade be installed without removing the existing equipment?
Yes. In almost all cases, play area shades are installed above the existing equipment without removing or modifying it. Post anchor positions are planned carefully during the site visit to avoid conflict with existing play structures, rubber flooring surfaces and drainage. Our installation team works around your equipment to ensure minimal disruption.
Do you install play area shades in schools during holidays?
Yes. We regularly schedule school play area shade installations during UAE school holidays — winter, spring and summer breaks — to avoid disruption to the school day. We also install during weekends for smaller projects. This is a standard part of how we work with schools and nurseries across Dubai and UAE.
Can we choose the shade colours to match our school colours?
Yes. HDPE fabric is available in over 20 colours and we bring physical fabric samples to the site visit. Schools frequently choose colours to match their branding or school identity.
