Dubai’s intense UV radiation, extreme summer heat and occasional winter rain make shade over doors, windows, terraces and shopfronts a practical necessity. A well-designed awning or canopy reduces solar heat gain through glazing, extends usable outdoor space into the cooler hours and significantly improves the visual presentation of any property.

Every unit is custom-made for your specific opening, facade or outdoor area. We do not sell off-the-shelf products — every awning we install is fabricated to the exact dimensions you need.
We use UV-stabilised acrylic fabric, PVC-coated fabric and high-performance polyester depending on the application, all rated for UAE’s extreme UV conditions. Frames are powder-coated aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel. Every installation is carried out by our own team — not subcontracted.

How much does an awning cost in Dubai?
Awning prices in Dubai depend on the type, width, fabric and mechanism. Small fixed fabric awnings for windows or doors start from approximately AED 800 to AED 2,500. Retractable manual awnings for villa terraces typically range from AED 2,500 to AED 6,000 depending on width. Motorised retractable awnings are higher due to the motor and controls. What is the difference between a retractable and a fixed awning?
A fixed awning is permanently extended and provides constant shade. There are no moving parts and it requires very little maintenance — just periodic fabric cleaning. A retractable awning opens and closes on a roller system, either manually with a crank handle or automatically with a motor. Retractable awnings are more popular in UAE because they give you full control — extended for shade during summer, retracted to enjoy natural light in the cooler winter months. The trade-off is a higher cost and more maintenance on the mechanism.
Can awnings handle UAE heat, UV and wind?
Yes. All our awnings use UV-stabilised acrylic or PVC fabric specifically rated for UAE’s extreme UV conditions. The fabric will not fade or degrade rapidly as cheaper untreated fabrics would. For retractable awnings, we strongly recommend retracting the awning during strong winds and shamal conditions — retractable mechanisms are not designed to withstand high wind loads when extended. Fixed canopies are engineered and fixed to withstand UAE peak wind loads. Our team advises on the appropriate product for each specific location during the site visit.
Can motorised awnings be connected to a smart home system?
Yes. Our motorised awnings use tubular motors compatible with most smart home protocols. They can be controlled by remote control, wall switch, or integrated into smart home systems including Lutron, KNX, Control4 and others. Wind sensors can also be fitted — these automatically retract the awning when wind speed exceeds a preset threshold, protecting the mechanism from damage. Let us know during the consultation if smart home integration is a requirement so we can specify the correct motor.
What fabrics are available and how long do they last?
We use three main fabric types. Acrylic fabric (such as Sunbrella or equivalent) is UV-stabilised, breathable and available in a huge range of colours and stripes — typically lasting 7–12 years in UAE conditions with a manufacturer warranty of 5 years. PVC-coated polyester is fully waterproof and 100% opaque — better for fixed canopies that need to block rain as well as sun, lasting 10–15 years. Plain polyester is the most economical option for fixed installations where budget is the priority. Physical fabric samples are brought to every site visit so you can choose before committing.
Can you print my shop name or logo on the awning fabric?
Yes. We offer full custom printing on awning fabric — your shop name, logo, brand colours, tagline and graphics can all be incorporated into the fabric design. Printed awnings are very popular for retail shops, restaurants and cafés across Dubai. We produce a design proof for your approval before any fabric is printed.
