What is the best fabric for tensile shades in UAE?
For most residential, school and play area applications in UAE, HDPE fabric is the most popular choice. It provides up to 98% UV protection, is breathable and available in many colours. For car parking and walkways where waterproofing is needed, PVC membrane is recommended. For permanent large-span structures, PTFE fabric offers the longest lifespan of 15–25 years.
How long does tensile shade last in UAE weather?
A quality tensile shade structure will last 10–15 years in UAE conditions. HDPE fabric carries a manufacturer’s warranty of 5–10 years while PVC membranes carry up to 15 years.
